Biography

2022: Served as the second-game catcher for the Owls during his first season. Appeared in 17 games, making 14 starts. Hit .174 (8-46), including three doubles and seven RBI. Drew three walks and scored eight runs. Also recorded a .972 fielding percentage with just two errors on 71 chances. Threw out seven baserunners.

2023: Became the primary catcher in his sophomore season. Appeared in 30 of 35 games. Hit .149 on 11 hits, with three more doubles. Drove in three runs for the Owls. Made just one error on 68 chances for a fielding percentage of .985. Threw out nine baserunners attempting to steal.

2024: Started all 28 games he appeared in of the Owls 30 for the season. Served as either catcher or DH. Improved batting average to .222 on the year, and became a big middle of the order bat, leading the team in RBI with 18. Slugged his first career home run on May 3rd vs. Husson. Had six multi-hit games including a three-hit game on April 28th vs. Lyndon. Made two errors on 71 chances for a fielding percentage of .972 as the Owls backstop. Threw out seven baserunners.
