Box Score Presque Isle, ME – The Owls women's basketball team hosted another North Atlantic Conference game vs Maine Maritime Academy. The Mariners quickness on offense led them to a 93-51 victory over the Owls.
The Mariners defense led them to some easy offense in the first half, causing 13 turnovers. MMA was led in scoring by Melinda Ogden's 23-point first half. The Owls continued to struggle in the second half, scoring 25 point in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Kylie Vining (FY. Island Falls, ME) led the Owls off the bench with 13 points off 5-10 shooting from the field and 3-5 from three. Marissa Valdivia Reagle (Jr. Seattle, WA) finished with nine points and eight rebounds.
The Owls will host non-conference opponents Fisher College tomorrow for a noon tip off.
