Bowdoin, ME – The University of Maine at Presque Isle Women's basketball team took on nationally ranked Bowdoin College. The number two ranked team beat the Owls 93-24.

The Owls had a tough start as the Polar Bears' defense held them to 11 first half points. UMPI would come out strong in the second half, but it wouldn't be enough. Bowdoin would finish the game shooting over 57% from the field and 58% from 3.

Sarah Musselman (So. Turlock, CA) led the Owls with 8 points. Marissa Valdivia Reagle (Jr. Seattle, WA) led the team in rebounds with 8 and 4 assists.

The Owls will head to Canton New York next to take on SUNY Canton to play the North Atlantic Conference opponent in two games, Friday and Saturday.
